Rajiv Gandhi University inks pact with Brno University for research

The MoU was signed by RGU’s registrar in-charge, Professor Tomo Riba and BUoT rector, Professor Petr Stepanek in presence of RGU vice-chancellor, Professor Saket Kushwaha

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) and Brno University of Technology (BUoT), Czech Republic to collaborate in research of scientific issues.

The two universities have identified diverse areas like natural, engineering, and technical sciences to carry out research jointly.

The MoU was signed by RGU’s registrar in-charge, Professor Tomo Riba and BUoT rector, Professor Petr Stepanek in presence of RGU vice-chancellor, Professor Saket Kushwaha.

It aims at providing new avenues for access, sharing and developing technical know-how between the two varsities initially for the next five years.

Professor Kushwaha termed the inking of the MoU a historic and welcome step towards achieving academic heights on mutually benefitting parameters for the two nations.

Earlier, RGU joint registrar (academic) David Pertin, while presenting the MoU mentioned that the joint venture will be academically viable especially in terms of exchange avenues for students, academic fraternity and researchers alike.

Among others, RGU pro-vice chancellor Amitava Mitra, finance officer in-charge of RGU Professor Otem Padung, COE in-charge N T Jose and visiting professor to department of physics.
