Arunachal Pradesh Governor B D Mishra on Friday visited Manjushree Vidhyapith, an orphanage in Tawang and was impressed by the school, its students and its founder Lama Thupten Phuntsok, a Padma Shree Awardee.
Interacting with the students, the Governor advised them to avail of the best educational opportunity to lead the Nation in future.
The Governor also advised the students to join Sainik Schools and serve the nation by joining the Indian Army.

The Governor lauded the efforts of Lama Phuntsok, the officials and staff of Manjushree Vidhyapith and said that it is the best service to humanity.
As a token of appreciation, the Governor donated a sum of Rs one lakh towards the school.
Earlier in the day, the Governor accompanied by the First Lady of the State, Neelam Misra visited the Khinmey Monastery and Late Dorjee Khandu Memorial Museum.
A personal history monument of former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister late Dorjee Khandu, the museum also exhibits some of the rare pictures of the 6th and 14th Dalai Lama and features an arena that depicts his journey into exile in India in March, 1959.
The Governor and the First Lady of the State also visited the Textile, Handloom and Handicrafts Emporium.
They took keen interest in the exhibition of items showcasing wood crafts masks, weaving, paper making and paintings etc.
They emphasized the promotion of indigenous handlooms and handicrafts products amongst the youth.
