The body of 5th IRBN constable Hake Rigjam was recovered from a 30 feet deep gorge near Rottung village along Pasighat- Pangin road in remote Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.

According to the officer-in-charge of Pangin police station, C Joseph, late Rigjam had gone missing on March 3 last when he was on his way to Pangin from Pasighat in his two wheeler, a 350 thunderbird Royal Enfield with registration number AR 02 3365.

The officer in charge informed that the area is usually very foggy and while it had been raining heavily on March 3 last, the sharp turn on the road must have proved fatal for Hake since his body was recovered wearing raincoat and helmet.

However, the officer in charge further added that the investigation is on into the whole incident.
