ITANAGAR: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Assam minister Ashok Singhal as the party’s in-charge for Arunachal Pradesh.

This was informed by the BJP on Friday (July 05).

The decision is seen as part of the BJP’s strategy to strengthen its presence and organizational structure in Arunachal Pradesh.

Ashok Singhal currently serves as a minister of housing & urban affairs and irrigation in the Assam government.

His new role will involve overseeing party activities, coordinating with local leaders.
