The sixth edition of the annual Mechuka adventure festival will be held from November 23, 24 and 25 in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh this year.

The festival, will be jointly organized by the Union tourism ministry and state tourism department.

The three-day adventure festival will have various activities like propelled glider and micro-light glider rides, aero-modelling, trap shooting, paragliding, mountain biking, rappelling, river crossing, rafting and trekking, rock climbing and zorbing.

An array of local food, cultural and musical evenings and a lot more will be featured at the festival.

The five communities of Mechuka sub-division – Memba, Adi Bokar, Adi Ramo, Adi Pai Libo and Tagin – are likely to perform their traditional dances in the festival.
