Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday registered 65 new COVID19 cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,855.

According to the data shared by the directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, on Wednesday night, the new COVID19 positive cases have been reported from 11 districts across the state.

Of the new cases, 19 positive cases have been reported from Changlang district, East Siang district has reported 12 cases and 10 cases have been reported from the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR).

The health department said while 59 positive patients are “asymptomatic”, 6 other patients are “symptomatic”.

Meanwhile, 105 patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been recovered and discharged from various hospitals of Covid care Centres on Wednesday.

The patients have been discharged from a total of 14 districts.

Of the discharged patients, a total of 54 patients have been discharged from the Itanagar Capital Region and 15 other patients have been discharged from East Siang district.

With the release of these patients, the total number of discharged patients in Arunachal Pradesh now stands at 1,210.

Arunachal Pradesh currently has 642 active COVID19 cases while 3 persons have succumbed to infections in the state so far.
