All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Luizinho Feleiro and secretary Zenith Sangma jointly launched the official website of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) ‘www.arunachalpcc.com’ on Wednesday.

The website was launched on the sidelines of the PCC’s social media awareness programme which is currently underway at the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan here.

Addressing a large gathering of party leaders and workers, Feleiro, who is also AICC’s Arunachal Pradesh in-charge, encouraged them to always upkeep the faith that people of the state have for the Congress party.

Alleging the BJP of disturbing and misleading the public with fake promises, Feleiro said that the opposition has debarred the frontier state from infrastructural development.

He further encouraged the delegates to learn the importance of social media tools and technology so as to reach out to the maximum audience possible.

Speaking as resource person, AICC social media in-charge for Northeast, Pranab Vachcharajani, explained the gathering about various social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Google etc which can be used to share information.

Vachcharajani also educated the gathering about the ways one can counter fake news and hate speeches.

Earlier, APCC president, Takam Sanjoy, in his keynote address highlighted the past and upcoming activities of the PCC.

Among others, the daylong programme was attended by AICC general secretary Kim S Haokip, who also is the in-charge of Arunachal Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMCC), Pradesh Mahila Congress general secretary Jarjum Ete, Congress legislature party leader Takam Pario, MLA Markio Tado and former minister and legislators of the state.
