The chief minister, while referring to the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day “Choose to Challenge”, said one has to challenge themselves for change and betterment.

He said “had he not challenged himself to complete the blacktopping of Naharlagun-Itanagar four-lane road by March this year, the work would have kept pending for long.”

Khandu had in October last year announced that he would quit his post if the construction of the aforementioned stretch of road (expect the underpass and bridges) was not completed by March 31 this year.
