Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu along with governor BD Mishra has reviewed the deteriorating Covid-19 situation in the state.
Khandu, who was in Tawang on Saturday, participated in a virtual meeting chaired by the Arunachal Pradesh governor.

Various issues related to the state’s preparedness to handle the pandemic like availability of medicines, ICU beds, oxygen supply for patients and vaccination were discussed during the meeting.
A total of 19 people have tested positive for covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh till Saturday.

However, no deaths were reported on that day.
The total number of positive cases in the state is 16,967, of which 105 are active cases.
The virus has claimed 56 lives in the state so far.
