Joseph Tayeng, secured the first position in the state level talent hunt exam “Transforming Education Awards-Knowledge Brainstorm-2018”.
He is a 11th standard student of Arts stream of Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan , Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
The exam was conducted by the Lovely Professional University(LPU), Punjab recently.
A resident of Pasighat ,East Siang District, he was awarded a cash prize of Rs 25000, a gold medal and a certificate besides scholarship of one time study grant of Rs. 1,00,000 or Rs. 50,000 per semester if he studies at LPU, Punjab.
Joseph, son of Sukumar Tayeng wishes to pursue BBA and MBA and become a successful entrepreneur in the future.
The principal of his school congratulated him on his achievement and said that he has made his school proud.
According to LPU’s mission of “Transforming Education, Transforming India”, the institute’s Transforming Education Awards are aimed at recognizing the dedicated efforts of Indian schools that have launched the careers of many of its students.
“Knowledge Brainstorm” (KBS), conducted under Transforming Education Awards for school students of North Eastern states is a one-hour aptitude test that examines general skills, critical thinking, analytical skills, and intellectual promise of the students.
