The Lower Subansiri district administration along with district health officials has been working hard to improve the vaccination coverage in the district.
A lack of awareness together with misconceptions regarding the vaccine has prevented many from getting themselves inoculated against the novel coronavirus.
“Vaccination is the only way to protect ourselves from Covid-19. We are glad that the idea of offering rice in return for getting vaccinated has worked and many people have come forward to receive the vaccine,” said Tashi Wangchuk Thongdok.
