The Ranji Trophy Selection Committee of Arunachal Cricket Association (ACA) announced a 15-member State cricket team on Tuesday which will represent Arunachal Pradesh in the upcoming Ranji Trophy. Ranji Trophy is a domestic first-class cricket championship played in India between teams representing regional and State cricket associations

This is the first time that Arunachal Pradesh will be taking part in the coveted competition which is organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The selected players are Kamsha Yangfo, Indiya Toku, Techi Doria, Licha Tehi, Neelam Obi, Techi Tahin, Akhilesh Sahani, Sandeep Kumar Thakur, Md Shoyeb, Subhash Sharma, Prateek Singh, Akash Singh, Samarth Sharma, Kshitiz Sharma and Hayat Ansari. Arunachal Pradesh will play its first match against Meghalaya on November 1 next.
