The Arunachal Pradesh government is considering to impose a ban on the online game Player Unknown’s Battleground or PUBG.

The Arunachal Pradesh government has sought suggestions from various legal departments, IT and communication agencies and police in this regard.

In this connection the State’s Home department has already written to the Commissioner of Law and Justice, secretary of Information Technology and Communication besides the state director general of police seeking their opinions.

The suggestion to impose a ban on the hugely popular online game but highly addictive after the government had received several complaints.

Notably, Nepal and some cities in Gujarat have already banned the online game.

The primary reason behind the ban was the addiction that students’ community has for the game.
