Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering, launched an E-rickshaw scheme for unemployed youth in Ruksin.

Pasighat: Arunachal Pradesh MLA and State Government’s Adviser for Hydropower, Ninong Ering, launched an E-rickshaw scheme for unemployed youth in Ruksin on Monday.

The initiative aims to alleviate unemployment in the constituency. Eight selected beneficiaries received E-rickshaws at a ceremony held at the ADC’s office.

MLA Ering highlighted the importance of creating self-employment opportunities and encouraged other MLAs to follow suit. He also emphasized the need for improved road infrastructure, education, and healthcare in the region.

Ering urged the beneficiaries to use the E-rickshaws for daily wage earning and stated that this is a pilot project to assess the demand for such vehicles in the area. He plans to expand the scheme to cover all rural areas in the subdivision.

The MLA also appealed to PRI leaders to support the welfare of the community and encourage youth to explore entrepreneurial ventures.

ADC Kiran Ningo advised the beneficiaries to maintain their E-rickshaws properly. He praised MLA Ering’s dedication to public service and urged local residents to cooperate with him.

ZPMs Aruni Jamoh and Anung Gammeng, and CDPO Onyok Panyang also spoke at the event, encouraging beneficiaries to utilize the E-rickshaws to boost their household income.
