Arunachal Pradesh is likely to get rain and snow along with some higher regions of the state of Assam, due to the Western Disturbance.

The northeast states are likely to witness rain due to the Western Disturbances which after affecting the Western Himalayas has moved towards the east, one arm of the system usually moves along the foothills of the Himalayas towards Northeast India, reports TNT.

Isolated light rain may also occur over some areas of Assam. However, rest of Northeast India is expected to remain dry and with similar weather. Minimum temperatures will remain in the cool range while the day is expected to remain pleasant.

Sky will remain mostly clear in states like Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. However, sky will remain partly cloudy in Meghalaya as well as Assam.
