Guwahati: Arunachal Pradeshโ€™s Minister for Science and Technology and Women and Child Development, Dasanglu Pul, unveiled the official tourism website for Anjaw district on Thursday.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening tourism promotion in the remote border district.

Representing the Hayuliang constituency, Pul said the digital platform would present Anjawโ€™s natural scenery, cultural richness and unique attractions to travellers from across the country and abroad.

She said the launch signals a new phase in efforts to promote one of the stateโ€™s most scenic and culturally diverse districts, located along the international borders with China and Myanmar.

Describing the portal as a digital window to the region, the minister said it would make tourism information more accessible while also encouraging environmentally responsible travel.

Pul further called on local communities to actively participate in highlighting the districtโ€™s cultural and natural assets, helping it reach a wider global audience.

Visitors can now access the newly launched Anjaw tourism portal through its official website.

The platform brings together details on travel spots, cultural aspects of the region, trip planning support, and other useful services for tourists.

Authorities said the initiative is designed to strengthen the districtโ€™s presence as a tourist destination while also promoting responsible and long-term tourism development in the frontier area.
