Arunachal Pradesh has registered 3 more Covid19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s total to 91.

Confirming the news, the directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, in its latest update on Covid19 said the new cases have been reported from the Itanagar Capital region.

All the infected patients are returnees from Delhi.

They tested positive for Covid19 in the quarantine facility.

They have been shifted to the Covid19 Care Centre (CCC) for treatment, the health department said in its update.

According to the health department, all cases are “asymptomatic”.

Meanwhile, one Covid19 patient was discharged from the Covid Care Centre (CC) in Upper Siang.

So far, a total of 7 Covid19 patients have been discharged from hospitals after they recovered from the disease.

The state currently has a total of 84 active Covid19 cases.

There is no report of any death due to Covid19 infection in the state.

On Sunday, a total of 386 samples were collected, out of which 3 were found positive for the virus.

Of the total active cases, 35 are females and 56 are males.

Capital Complex has 8 Covid19 active cases, Changland district has 55 active cases, the highest number of cases registered in the state and East Siang has 9 active cases.

While West Siang has 3 active cases, Lohit and Lower Dibang Valley have 2 active cases each.

Tawang, Namsai Longding, Tawang, Tirap and West Siang have one each active Covid19 case.
