Arunachal Pradesh has reported one more Covid19 death and 172 new positiver cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, the deceased hailed from Tawang.

The Covid19 victim was a 74-year-old woman, who had tested positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on May 22.

She was administered the first dose of Covid19 vaccine on May 11, 2021.

The woman was hospitalised for Covid19 treatment with symptoms like cough, fever and breathlessness.

She also had comorbidities like diabetes mellitus and hypertension.

With her death on Sunday, Arunachal Pradesh’s Covid19 death toll has increased to 115.

The new 172 cases were confirmed out of 4,356 samples tested for Covid19.

Of the new cases, 80 are symptomatic and 92 are asymptomatic cases.

In the last 24 hours,  a total of 306 patients have been discharged after their recovery from the disease.

Arunachal Pradesh has registered a total of 26,950 positive cases so far.

Of the total positive cases, a total of 23,052 people have recovered.

The state’s recovery rate stands at 84.54%.

Arunachal Pradesh currently has 3,783 active Covid19 cases.

The state’s positivity rate stands at 14.03% while the death rate stands at 0.43%.
