Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Friday termed the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 as one of the best reforms initiated by the Modi government.
Khandu said the new policy is aimed at developing students’ creativity and skill, which will unfold immense opportunity for the new generation.
He said this while addressing a meeting on the new policy with the education department at the civil secretariat here.
The chief minister later gave the go ahead for constituting a task force for implementation of the new education policy in the state.
Earlier education secretary Niharika Rai gave a powerpoint presentation on NEP, 2020.
Among others, education minister Taba Tedir was also present in the meeting.
