Ace Arunachalee woman bodybuilder Paklu Taipodia has won the ‘NABBA Women’s Bikini Model’ title in the recently concluded 6th Mr and Mrs India 2018 Bodybuilding Championships, the event which was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

Paklu also won silver in the ‘Mom’s Fitness Model’ category in the championships which was organized by the National Amateur Body-Builders’ Association (NABBA).

Paklu, who is the only women bodybuilder of Arunachal Pradesh, has already won laurels for the State and country in various national and international competitions.

Her first title was Eastern India Miss Fitness 2017 while she bagged the fifth spot on her national debut in the Satish Sugar Senior National Bodybuilding Championship held in Karnataka in 2016.

A mother of three, Paklu also represented India in the Asian Body Building and Physique Sports Championship held in South Korea in August last year and at the World Championship in Mongolia in October.

Paklu trains under her husband cum coach Raj Thakuri who is a pro bodybuilder himself.
