A total of 327 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours in Arunachal Pradesh.

With this the total number of positive cases has increased to 29,113.

The virus also claimed the life of one man in Lohit district, taking the total death toll to 123 in the state.

There are 3,757 active cases in the state at present.

While the positivity rate stands at 4.16 per cent, the recovery rate in the state is 86.69 per cent.

Meanwhile, the district administration of the Itanagar Capital Complex has extended the lockdown in the district till June 21 in view of the spike in positive cases.

At least 77 people tested positive for the virus in the Itanagar Capital Complex during the past 24 hours.

However, the district administration has allowed partial relaxation in the curfew within the district with effect from June 7.
