Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 120.00 MTR bridge over Dikrong river between Sopo and Lekhi village.
The expense for construction of the bridge would be shared by the NEEPCO as its corporate social responsibility scheme and the State Government.
At the foundation stone laying ceremony Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Minister of Housing and Town Planning Nabam Rebia and others were present.
Earlier the CM had also visited the 110 MW Pare Hydro Project site at Jampaand Sopo and asked the NEEPCO officials to expedite the work on the project.
