Guwahati: The Arunachal Pradesh police have arrested two individuals for creating and circulating a pornographic video using a girl’s photograph.
The girl filed a complaint at the Naharlagun police station after she discovered that her photograph had been used in a pornographic video circulating on multiple social media platforms.
The video was shared with people by the accused on an instant messaging app in exchange for money.

The prime accused responsible for creating the fake pornographic video and distributing it for money was arrested along with another individual from Naharlagun in Papum Pare district.
The police have seized the devices used to create fake accounts for distributing the video.
Investigation into the matter is on.
