Arunachal Pradesh legislator cum adviser to State Chief Minister, Wanglin Lowangdong handed over a brand new sports utility vehicle (SUV) to Borduria Circle Officer Lim Modi on Thursday.
The vehicle was donated by Lowangdong following the request made by Tirap Deputy Commissioner P N Thungon regarding requirement of a vehicle against the circle office of Borduria.
While handing over the vehicle, the MLA hoped that the same would help the circle officer in running the administrative circle in a smooth and effective manner.
Taking the opportunity, Lowangdong also informed that a total of three posts viz LDC cum computer operator, driver and that of a night watchman against the administrative circle headquarters of Longgo and Borduria has been created and sanctioned by the government.
Speaking on the occasion, circle officer Modi appreciated the MLA for his kind gesture and said that the long cherished requirement of a vehicle against the Borduria administrative circle headquarter has been fulfilled.
“The vehicle will immensely help us to carry out our duties smoothly,” Modi said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Lowangdong had earlier also donated an ambulance to the Paniduria Primary Health Centre.
