Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona on Tuesday called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at his office in New Delhi.

During the meeting they discussed various issues pertaining to Arunachal Pradesh State Legislative Assembly.

Sona also informed Birla about the Commonwealth Parliamentarian Association, India Region Zone-III Conference to be held in Arunachal Pradesh later this year and requested him to attend the same as chief guest to which the latter consented.

Sona on the day also met Snehlata Shrivastava, the secretary general of the Lok Sabha.

He requested Shrivastava to help in strengthening the State’s Assembly Secretariat and also in regards to the training of newly elected legislators.
