The K2K2K bike expedition of the Army Medical Corps of the Indian Army lead by Maj Gen(Dr) AVK Mohan reached 151 Army Base Hospital in Arunachal Pradeshon March 23 last.

This was informed in a defence press release issued on Sunday.

The team was received by Brig Yoginder Singh, Commandant of the Hospital. The K2K2K is being organized by the Army from Chennai to Kibithu, the eastern most part of Arunachal Pradesh, then to Koteshwar in Kutch which is the western most part of the country and then further to Kanyakumari, the southernmost part of India.

The expedition commenced on March 17 last in Chennai and will cover a distance of 11000 kms before finally finishing it at Chennai.

At the 151 Base Hospital, the team was briefed about the medical care being provided to the Armed Forces, their families and veterans of the entire north-eastern region. Maj Gen (Dr) AVK Mohan is an avid rider, a highly qualified doctor and is an idol for all budding bike riders, adventurist and physical fitness enthusiast throughout the country.

The team will culminate the expedition at Chennai after covering the Kibitho- Koteswar-Kanyakumari axis (K2K2K).
