In yet another shocking incident, a six-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by a man on Wednesday evening at Kshetri in Kamrup (Metro) district.
Police officials said the man raped the girl when she was alone at home.

The incident came days after a minor gang-raped and murdered by three miscreants including two juveniles at Lalungaon under Batadrava police station in Nagaon district.
The girl was alone at home as her parents went to a nearby hospital for treatment. The girl narrated the horrific incident to her mother on Thursday and an FIR was lodged with Khetri Polce station, police said.
After a massive search operation, a man, suspected to have committed the crime and was absconding, was arrested from a nearby village this afternoon, police said.
