The two-day Annual Medical Conference of NTPC Ltd – Medicon –organised this year at Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project concluded on Sunday.
Group General Manager Dipankar Bose welcomed all the dignitaries, delegates and speakers to the conference on Saturday.
The conference was inaugurated by the CMD, NTPC Ltd, Gurdeep Singh through video conferencing.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurdeep Singh stated that the conference would help medical professionals to interact and learn about the latest developments and technological advancements in the medical field and in turn the professionals would be able to inculcate it in their respective workplaces and extend it to not only the employees and their family members but also to the society at large.
The organizers invited some of the most eminent speakers in the field of healthcare like Padma Shri Dr Subroto Das, Managing Trustee & CEO, Lifeline Foundation; Dr Sanjay Giri, Head of Department, Burn & Plastic Surgery, AIIMS) and many others.
The Medicon, which concluded on Sunday, was also attended by Director (HR) Saptarshi Roy, Director (Commercial) AK Gupta and Director (Operations) Prakash Tiwary.
