Dibrugarh: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday took out a roadshow in Dibrugarh to campaign in support of Dibrugarh Lok Sabha candidate Sarbananda Sonowal.
Thousands of people participated in the roadshow which crossed over the main routes of Dibrugarh.
Sarma is a popular BJP leader and crowds gathered in huge numbers to see the glimpse of Sarma. Sarma has been seen taking selfies with the people.
In the absence of Sonowal, Sarma participated in the roadshow in Dibrugarh.
Sonowal on Sunday participated in several rallies in Tinsukia to garner support from the voters.
Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency is one of the prestigious constituencies which will witness a triangular contest between AAP candidate Manoj Dhanowar and INDIA bloc candidate Lurinjyoti Gogoi.
The Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat has a total of 16,50, 706 voters who will cast their valuable votes to decide the fate of the candidate on April 19.
