After a long break, Assam’s Hima Das, the new track sensation, who remained busy in various promotional activities after the Asian Games at Jakarta, has finally returned to the training ground.
Hima Das informed about her presence in the national training camp at Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NIS Patiala) by posting one her photographs on her Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The star sprinter from Dhing in Nagaon district, Hima Das recently summoned by her coach Galina Petrova Bukharina to the training camp and was waiting for Hima, who was busy in promotional activities and attending felicitation programmes.

Hima Das who was recently been roped in by the State Bank of India (SBI) as their brand ambassador to promote YONO, on October 20 on her Twitter account stated that she was still busy in SBI’s YONO Shopping Festival.
Hima, who won three medals including a gold in the Asian Games held at Jakarta, recently had drawn sharp criticisms for getting herself busy in promotional events instead of returning to the training ground to get her prepared for future competitions.

She was advised by her fans and the well-wishers to get back to tracks.
Arjuna Awardee Hima Das, who has been appointed by the Indian Oil Corporation as an HR officer, is also the new brand ambassador of Adidas, the Indian arm of German sports brand.
