Music maestro A R Rahman ‘s prestigious music institution K M Music Conservatory became a knowledge partner for the Nagaland government’s Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) in order to empower the musicians of the state and help in the development of the music industry of Nagaland.

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on Saturday took to Twitter to thank AR Rahman and hoped that his experience and knowledge of music will inspire and benefit musicians of the state.

Rio tweeted, “We are grateful to A.R. Rahman @arrahman.With your experience and knowledge, our music fraternity will be greatly benefited and it will inspire the youth of #Nagaland to reach out for their aspirations and dream bigger. “

TaFMA has been launched by the state government with an aim to boost the talents of the aspiring musicians of the state.

KM Music Conservatory is a music institution founded by the A R Rahman Foundation in 2008.
