Imphal: A total of 94 Special Polling Stations have been identified across the state to facilitate voting by the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), the Chief Electoral Officer of Manipur Pradeep Kumar Jha said.
Manipur with its two Parliamentary constituencies — Outer Manipur Lok Sabha seat reserved for scheduled tribes and Inner Manipur LS will go to the polls on April 19 and 26.

A total of 10 candidates — four in the Outer seat and 6 in the Inner seat are vying for the elections.
The Indian Voter ID Forms were distributed in all the relief camps to facilitate their seamless voting on Poll Day. So far, 17425 ID Forms have been distributed and 9875 forms have been submitted back.
The number may increase further, in the next few days, he said.

Altogether, 118 Model Polling Stations will be set up across the State out of which 91 will be exclusively managed by Women Polling Personnel.
There will be a total of 806, Woman-managed polling Stations, and 4 Polling Stations will be exclusively managed by Polling Personnel belonging to the PwD category.
13842 number of Form 12D was issued in the category of Persons with Disabilities (AVPD) out of which 2827 forms have been received. 20675 Form 12D issued in the category for voters aged 85+ years (AVSC), out of which 4726 forms have been received. For essential services, 4 12D forms were issued and all of them have been submitted. For Service Voters, a total of 9541 Postal Ballots have been transmitted through the Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System (ETPBS) in respect of 1-inner Manipur PC and 12215 ETPBS have been transmitted for 2-0uter Manipur PC.
