The KLNLF’s main objective is attaining a separate homeland for the Karbis under Article 3 of the Constitution and till now it has adhered to it.

Teron also stated that in the 8-year journey after signing the ceasefire agreement the outfit has experienced many ups and downs towards achieving its goal.

He expressed his gratitude for the unfailing support being offered by the masses to the KLNLF.

Teron regretted that in spite of the mass support it has not received much encouragement from the elected representatives like MP, MLAs, Chief Executive Member, Executive Members and Members of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council.

Teron hoped that in the coming days the public as well as the elected representatives would extend their support for achieving their goal.

KLNLF Chairman P Dilli asked the leaders and cadres of the outfit to remain in the organisation and work together in achieving the demands of the organisation.

Dilli urged all the leaders and cadres not to lose hope, but to continue to extend support towards their efforts to have a separate state under Article 3 of the Constitution for the Karbis.

Dilli also appealed to the general public, intellectuals and elected representatives for their support.

In the morning, the organisation’s flag was hoisted by outfit Chairman Dilli.

The observation was attended by KLNLF Vice-Chairman Habe Tokbi, Publicity Secretary Rijak Dera and others.
