17 Naga girls selected as cabin crew for GoAir with fat salary package

Seventeen students from Nagaland were selected as cabin crew by leading low cost airline GoAir during a recruitment drive in Siliguri recently.

A total of 25 candidates have been selected as cabin crew during the recruitment drive conducted by GoAir at Emporium Skills Training Institute in Siliguri.

The selected candidates will get the opportunity of flying to around 25 destinations in India and seven overseas destinations with monthly starting salaries ranging between Rs 50000 to Rs 60000.

Over 350 candidates from various northeastern states took part in the recruitment drive.

Out of these total candidates, 58 of them were from Emporium Skills Training Institute in Dimapur.

However, only 17 candidates of the institute have been recruited as cabin crew by GoAir.

The selected candidates from Nagaland are currently undergoing training at the Emporium Skill Training Institute, Dimapur under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna Scheme (PMKVY2.0).

The programme is being conducted under the leadership of the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland.

The selected candidates will soon be reporting to Mumbai, the headquarter location of GoAir.

GoAir is the fifth largest airline in India owned by Wadia Group.
