Former Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spreading awareness about animal conservation and environmental protection by shooting for a Man Vs Wild episode along with the show’s host and adventurer Bear Grylls.

Tobgay also said that Bhutan extends its support to Modi’s message on animal conservation and environmental change and that the country will also try their best in protecting their natural beauty.

The former Bhutan PM, in his official Twitter handle, wrote, “Many thanks to PM @narendramodi for championing animal conservation and environmental protection. We join you in working together to protect our world for our children … and their children.”

Modi is expected to embark on a two-day visit to Bhutan starting August 17 later this year.

Bhutan is going to be the first neighbour nation that PM Modi will visit after coming to power for the second time.

The episode of Man Vs Wild featuring PM Modi and Bear Grylls will air on Discovery Channel at 9 pm on August 12.

While sharing a promotional video of the episode on his Twitter handle, Bear Grylls stated that people from 180 countries will get to see the ‘unknown side’ of Modi in the episode.

He tweeted, “People across 180 countries will get to see the unknown side of PM @narendramodi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change. Catch Man Vs Wild with PM Modi @DiscoveryIN on August 12 @ 9 pm. #PMModionDiscovery”.
