The uniforms, embedded with electronic chips allow parents, teachers and school officials to keep track of the students’ movements and the time during which they enter and leave school.

The uniforms also have many interesting features like alerting the parents and teachers with the help of an alarm if a student decides to bunk class and letting parents know what their children are buying and the amount of money they are spending.

The facial recognition device installed at the entrance of the school is equipped to match a student’s face with the chip embedded in the uniform.

The smart uniforms will also trigger an alarm if a student decides to exchange his/her uniform with another student.

The smart uniforms can detect if a student has fallen asleep in class and with the help of facial and thumb recognition technology, the uniforms can be used to make cashless purchases in schools.

The school uniforms can withstand temperature up to 150 degree Celsius.

The manufacturer of these smart uniforms is Guizhou Guanyu Technology Co.

According to the report, the attendance of the schools has been increasing after these smart uniforms were introduced.
