Nepal’s newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said on Monday that a historical opportunity for building a prosperous and happy Nepal has started, The Kathmandu Post reports.
According to the report, Oli was addressing a programme organised in Tundikhel on the occasion of 68th Democracy Day on Monday. He said the era to fulfill the long cherished dream to develop the country, bring political stability and build a prosperous and happy Nepal has commenced.
Saying that the country has entered into the phase of government formation after the conclusion of three-tier of election, he said that the government will work under its jurisdiction by adhering to the standards set by the government.
“Respect to sovereignty, national unity, people’s security, institutionalise rule of law, good governance, stability, development and prosperity will be the guide line at the moment,” PM Oli said.
Highlighting that the country has reached this stage by overcoming various obstacles, PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of CPN-UML, said, “A mega campaign has been started to bring happiness in the face of Nepali people by fulfilling their desires.”
He appealed all the political parties and general public to join hands together for the development of the country.
“People have got an opportunity to legally transform their long cherished dreams,” Oli said, adding, “He appealed all to be united for the prosperity by mobilising resources.”
