Google appreciates India’s packaging, shipping and delivery workers

Search engine giant Google on Wednesday appreciated India’s packaging, shipping and delivery workers with a doodle for their dedicated service to the people amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The packaging, shipping and delivery workers are also a part of the frontline staff who have been ensuring in delivering of essential commodities on time to all places thereby risking their lives due to the pandemic.

The doodle features a heart emoji over the word ‘Google’ with the letter ‘G’ designed to look like it is holding a package and the ‘e’ designed to look like a delivery van.

When one hovers the cursor over the doodle, it shows the message- ‘To all packaging, shipping and delivery workers, thank you’.

Clicking on the doddle brings out the search query-‘Thank you coronavirus helpers’

This particular doodle is part of a series that Google launched last week to express gratitude to first responders and emergency workers at the frontlines of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever. We’re launching a Doodle series to recognize and honour many of those on the front lines. Today, we’d like to say: To all packaging, shipping and delivery workers, thank you,” the Google doodle page said.

It also features steps on how one can prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The steps include staying at home, keeping a safe distance, washing hands often, covering while coughing and calling helplines when sick.
