Teesta water sharing and Rohingya issues are likely to dominate the Indo-Bangla bilateral talks in Dhaka on Monday.
According to Bangladesh foreign ministry sources, the meeting will begin at 9 in the morning. Bangladesh foreign secretary Shahidul Haque and Indian foreign secretary Vijay Gokhale will hold talks at two state guest houses — Padma and Meghna.

During the talks Bangladesh may seek India’s cooperation to expedite the Rohingya repatriation process and Teesta water sharing issue.
Gokhale arrived Dhaka Sunday afternoon on a two-day visit. Bangladesh foreign secretary Shahidul Haque and Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla received him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Both the countries are likely to ink a number of MoUs.

Foreign Ministry sources told Northeast Now that the two secretaries might also discuss the possibilities of a meeting between Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2018 (CHOGM) that will be held in London and Windsor from April 16-20.
