Guwahati: Actor and activist Prakash Raj is set to participate in a protest organised by the Cockroach Janta Party at Bengaluruโ€™s Freedom Park in Karnataka on Sunday, as part of an ongoing Gen-Z-led agitation demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities, including the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case.

The development was confirmed through posts on social media platform X by both Prakash Raj and the organizers, who announced his participation in the upcoming demonstration in Bengaluru. The actor was earlier expected to join the groupโ€™s initial protest in Delhi but had cited โ€œprior work commitmentsโ€ for his inability to attend at the time.

In a post on X, the Cockroach Janta Party stated, โ€œBig Announcement: Activist Prakash Raj Will Be Joining CJPโ€™s Peaceful Protest at Bengaluru!โ€ signaling his presence at the planned gathering in Karnatakaโ€™s capital.

The protest is part of a broader student and youth-driven movement raising concerns over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, including NEET-UG, and demanding accountability from authorities. The organizers have framed the Bengaluru event as a peaceful demonstration seeking transparency and reform in the examination system.
