NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has awarded Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut with a party ticket to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Kangana Ranaut is set to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh on a BJP ticket.

The announcement of Kangana Ranaut’s candidature was made by the BJP on Sunday (March 24) in its fifth list of candidates.
Expressing gratitude to the BJP following the announcement, Kangana Ranaut stated: “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my beloved Bharat and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), to which I have always offered my unwavering support.”
“Today, the national leadership of the BJP has nominated me as their Lok Sabha candidate from my birthplace, Mandi. I wholeheartedly respect the decision of the high command regarding contesting the Lok Sabha polls,” she added.
