Guwahati: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a march in Delhi on September 5, alleging that the Centre has failed to honour commitments made during the July agitation.
In a statement posted on X, the CJP said the Union government had failed to fulfil assurances made to India’s youth on July 25, particularly its commitment to withdraw FIRs against students and protesters.
The CJP National Working Committee has decided to resume peaceful mobilisation, alleging that the government continued to delay action on its assurances, the statement said.
The CJP, along with families of deceased NEET victims and victims of police brutality, will hold a youth march from India Gate to the Delhi Police headquarters.
“The Government must honour its word. Our patience must not be mistaken for weakness,” the statement said.
