COVID19 positive

Nagaland has registered 45 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,384.

Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet on the state’s COVID19 status said out of the 335 samples tested on Monday, 45 were found positive for the virus.

The health minister informed that while 23 COVID19 positive cases have been reported from Kohima, 14 cases have been reported from Dimapur and 8 cases have been reported from Mon district.

“Update! 45 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 335 test results received.
23 in Kohima, 14 in Dimapur & 8 in Mon,” health minister Phom tweeted.

According to the data prepared by the COVID19 war room, Nagaland, on Monday and shared by the state government, Nagaland has so far registered 1,384 COVID19 positive cases, out of which the active cases stand at 831.

Earlier, a total of 549 patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from various hospitals in the state after they tested negative for the virus.

The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 4 persons so far.
