Nagaland registered 50 new COVID-19 positive cases on Tuesday.

These are among 312 samples tested on Monday.

Twenty-four patients are from Dimapur quarantine centre, 14 are from Kohima quarantine centre and 12 are from Peren quarantine centre.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Tuesday.

Phom tweeted:

‘Out of 312 samples tested, 50 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported. 24 patients from Dimapur QC, 14 from Kohima QC & 12 from Peren QC.

Positive       : 330

Active          : 189

Recovered  : 141

Death           : 00

Update at 8: 30 AM, 23rd June, 2020.’

The total COVID-19 positive cases in the State have gone up to 330.

There are at present 189 active cases in the State.

So far 141 persons have recovered from the deadly coronavirus.

The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths till date.
