Nagaland on Saturday registered 23 fresh cases of COVID-19.

These new cases are among the 411 samples tested on Friday.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through this official Twitter handle.

‘Update!

Out of 411 samples tested, 23 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.

21 in Peren  & 2 in Kohima.

Total State status as of 9:30 AM, 4th July, 2020.

Positive       : 562

Active          : 334

Recovered  : 228’

As on Saturday, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the State stands at 562.

However, there are 334 active cases at present.

A total of 228 persons have recovered from the disease so far.

The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths so far.
