Another 52 samples tested negative for COVID-19 in Meghalaya.
According to the latest update by Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday night, the 52 tests were carried out by the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Science (NEIGRIHMS), Mawdiangdiang.

Informing about the tests, chief minister Sangma tweeted at 11:26 pm on Wednesday: “Got result of 52 more test conducted in NEIGRIMS Shillong out of which 26 samples were from Nongpoh, and all the 52 tests have come out as negative.”

Fifty tests carried out at Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) were also found negative, and the results of the 43 tests conducted at Barpeta Medical College Hospital are yet to come out.
Earlier, 68 tests were carried out, out of which, 6 were found positive, and 6 were sent for reconfirmation.
