He also asked all those who have allegedly went into hiding across the State to cooperate with the administration to contain the coronavirus epidemic.
In a video sent to the media, the Tablighi Jamaat leader said, “There should not be any fear of apprehension. It is important for one’s own well-being and of others. In this regard, it is our moral responsibility to cooperate with the administration.”
He also lauded the state machinery in its fight against COVID-19.
He said apart from taking adequate measures in all respects, the state administration has also ensured quality food, hygienic beds and other facilities for those lodged in the quarantine centres.
Notably, senior Jamaat member and actor Mirel Kuddus is also under quarantine at Sarusajai since April 4 last.
He also urged the administration to trace all those who have not come forward for health screening.
He further urged the Tablighi Jamaat to take appropriate action against them.
