Assam has registered three more COVID19 positive cases on Tuesday taking the state’s total count to 157.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the three new cases are from the quarantine centre at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati.
“Alert – Three new #COVID + cases detected from Sarusajai Quarantine Centre. Now the total patient count goes to 157,” health minister Sarma tweeted at 11 pm on Tuesday.
Health minister Sarma has requested the people of the state to maintain social distancing, wear masks and frequently wash hands.
“I request all to maintain #SocialDistanacing, must wear masks, and wash your hands frequently,” tweeted Sarma.
