Assam has registered 14 new COVID19 positive cases on Wednesday taking the state’s total to 185.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday said the new cases are from the Quarantine Centre at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati.
Health minister Sarma has urged the people to be “extra careful”.
“Alert ~ 14 new #COVID19 positive cases confirmed among those at Sarusajai Quarantine Centre. We need to be extra careful,” said health minister Sarma.
With the new cases registered in Assam, the number of active COVID19 cases in the state has increased to 130.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 4 persons in Assam while 3 cases migrated from the state.
“Total cases 185. Recovered 48. Active cases 130. Deaths 04. Migrated 03,” minister Sarma added.
