The six people from Lakhimpur district, who returned from Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi after attending the Tablighi Jamaat, tested negative for Covid19.
The authorities identified the six people from the district who had gone to Delhi and attended the religious congregation held from March 13.

The Lakhimpur district health department on Thursday announced that the blood samples of all the six cases were found negative for the deadly virus.
The blood samples of these six persons were sent to the ICMR laboratory at Lahowal in Dibrugarh on Tuesday after they were identified and put in the isolation ward of the North Lakhimpur Civil Hospital.

Earlier, panic gripped the people across the district as six persons from Lakhimpur were identified as returnees from Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi after attending the Tablighi Jamaat held before the lockdown.
The family members of these persons have also been kept in home quarantine for fourteen days in Lakhimpur.
Apart from them, another identified person, who also attended the Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin, is reportedly taking shelter in Kolkata.
So far 3,253 people in Lakhimpur district have been put under home quarantine.
Meanwhile, Lakhimpur deputy commissioner Dr. Jeevan B and superintendent of police Rajveer Singh distributed food and grocery items among the poor in North Lakhimpur on Thursday.
The police have also made arrests for uploading and sharing communal posts on social media regarding Covid19 in North Lakhimpur.
